Dinner Tonight – Chinese and Fennel

Success!  Chinese and fennel are going to get to play a role in tonight’s dinner.  Or at least Asian Fusion and fennel.  The Chinese cook book I so excitedly brought home from the library is very contemporary food and isn’t about classic Chinese cooking.  The recipes look beautiful, though.  We are going to make Salmon Braised with Soy and Ginger and Steamed Fennel, both from Susanna Foo Fresh Inspiration. We will also have rice of some sort, perhaps just a simple jasmine or basmati for delicate flavor.  It should work out well.
